Yummy Double Chocolate Almond Butter Cookies

Super easy, low fat and refined sugar free chocolate cookies that you will love!

  • 1 cup spelt flour
  • ½ cup almond flour
  • 2 tbs cocoa powder
  • 1 tbs baking powder
  • cup coconut oil melted and cooled
  • maple syrup
  • 1 tbs vanilla essence
  • 1 tbs almond butter
  • ½ cup of chocolate chips
  • Chocolate drizzle:
  • 2 tbs coconut oil
  • 2 tbs cocoa
  • 2 tbs maple or agave syrup


  1. In a large bowl mix together flours, cocoa and baking powder
  2. In a separate bowl mix together coconut oil, maple syrup, almond butter and vanilla essence
  3. Add your liquid mixture into bowl with dry ingredients and mix well
  4. At the end, add chocolate chips and mix well
  5. Scoop the mixture with your hands, forming small balls and placing them on a baking tray with parchment paper
  6. Once you used all the mixture, flatten the cookies with palm of your hand gently
  7. Bake in the oven in 160 Celsius for 8-10 minutes
  8. Take out of the oven and let them cool
  9. In a small pan, melt coconut oil on a small heat, add cocoa powder and keep stirring until well combined, finally add your agave or maple syrup, keep stirring until well combined
  10. Take off the hob and drizzle over your cookies
  11. Enjoy!

This recipe should make about 15- 20 cookies, depending on the size of your cookie.
