Happy New Years Eve!
I don't know how about you, but personally, I can't wait to say goodbye to 2016. It's been a helluva year, and I'm ready for a new, fresh start, and full of hopes for 2017! Bring it on! But first, let's have some cocktails! 🙂
So to make this refreshing New Years Breeze cocktail, you will need some of the clementine and cranberry cordial, which you can find in my previous post. All what you have to do is add 2-3 tablespoon of cordial and top it up with some bubbly. Both, Champagne and Prosecco will work well in this recipe.
Fresh rosemary twigs will be a lovely finish, but they are not necessary (however, they are very aesthetically pleasing 😉 ). And if you use some frozen blackberries to finish it off with, it will give them nice fizz and will keep your drink cooler for longer 🙂 Also, you could use some lemon peel instead, or keep it simple and leave it plain, it will still taste delicious!
This New Yeas Breeze cocktail is perfect for raising all these toasts today, and it's really light and refreshing. Delicate citrus flavor of clementine cordial gives it lovely finish and makes it a nice change to an ordinary glass of bubbly. Plus it's dead easy to make, providing you have made clementine cordial ahead 😉
So let's raise our glasses! Here's to 2017, let's make it a good one!
Salut & Happy New Year!
