Easy Greek salad made with simple, fresh and fuss-free ingredients. This salad will be great for hot, summer days, perfect for light lunch or dinner!

Easy Greek salad with simple ingredients. Buy your groceries with Tesco's app and try their new filtering tools to suit all of your dietary needs!

Welcome to the new post friends!

Today, I have a couple of exciting things to share with you. Light and delicious Greek salad, plus a new and exciting way to shop for your groceries online that could revolutionise the way you do it!

    Weekly shopping struggle is real...

When it comes to my regular food shopping, I must admit, it's not the highlight of my week. Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy the occasional stroll around the supermarket, but I also find them overcrowded and manic at times.

Shopping for groceries have never been easier with Tesco's latest app and its tools!

With my diet being based mainly around vegetarian and vegan cuisine, sometimes, going to the shop to do weekly groceries can be a bit time consuming. I have to check every label and read the list of the ingredients for almost every product that I buy. In the past, I often bought something thinking it's vegetarian or vegan, only to discover later that it is not. The frustration and disappointment which I can only blame myself for (because I was rushing through it and couldn't be bothered to read the label). Grrr!

Online shopping made easy with Tesco

Gradually, I've been growing my appreciation for online shopping, because it makes things so much easier and quicker. I no longer need to spend time between supermarket aisles, studying the labels. I can do it quickly and effortlessly, via Tesco's website or their groceries app on my phone, at the comfort of my own home or office. Their latest feature, the dietary and lifestyle filters tool made the whole process even quicker and better!

Easy Greek salad recipe. Buy the ingredients using Tesco's groceries app and try their latest online tools to refine your lifestyle and dietary requirements! #fussfreefood #greeksalad #vegetarianrecipe | via @annabanana.co

Tesco's groceries app and its latest filters make it super easy to adapt your shopping to your lifestyle and dietary requirements!

This new tool allows you to complete your online shop on the website or via the app, whilst being able to filter your product search into categories, such as vegetarian, vegan, paleo, no-gluten and many more! If you have any special dietary requirements, or simply want to explore and try new trends or cuisines, this tool should be definitely on your radar!

It's great to see how Tesco have cleverly tailored online shopping experience to suit so many different lifestyles and needs, and still kept the whole thing really easy and quick to use. As much as we don't want to admit it, we do live in times when our lifestyle and occupations are more and more demanding, leaving us less precious time for simple pleasures, not to mention time to pay attention to what we eat. By using their app along with filters, a whole food shopping experience has become smooth and super quick, it can literally be done in minutes, rather than my usual couple of hours, and I no longer fear that I will find an unwanted ingredient in one of the products!

Tesco's groceries app allows you to shop for the ingredients using the filters suitable for your dietary needs!

Easy Greek salad- perfect for the hot summer day!

This classic salad is one of the simplest, yet one of the most popular salads in our household. It requires only 7 ingredients and literally almost no effort to prepare. Fresh tomatoes, cucumber, red onion and olives, along with some feta cheese (can be swapped for vegan equivalent), oregano and olive oil. Perfect light lunch or dinner, it also makes great side to any meal. It can also be easily customised, I often add some crunchy apples or watermelon to it, cooked pasta can also be a great addition!

Your weekly shopping have never been easier! You can now use special filters tools on Tesco website and app!

Thanks for reading today's post, I hope you've enjoyed it. As always, it would be great to hear from you, so don't be shy and leave me a comment below!

I'm not a fan of olives, but I love everything else on this salad. I have to admit, I'm still not sold on the online grocery shopping game. I like picking out my own produce, and often find items that I need/want when I'm browsing aisles. But I totally get it for people who have to read/study labels!

Olives are a funny thing, I absolutely hated them when I was younger, and then somehow, it changed and went in completely opposite direction- I love them now, and love adding them to my salads too!

I don't have a Tesco, but I do use a delivery service. It is a tremendous time saver for me. Greek salad is not something I'm a fan of, but my mom could eat it every day!

I am totally considering online grocery shopping. I have not tried it yet but the thought of conveniently browsing in the comfort of your home for groceries is a breeze. I have little kids and its hard to take them around with me at all times. Online shopping is something I see in my very near future.

        Hi Sanna,
Thanks so much for visiting and for your comment! I can only imagine how tricky it can be to arrange a trip to the supermarket with the little ones around! I think the online grocery shopping is the way forward, although I still enjoy the occasional trip to my local supermarket 🙂

Since moving to the city I have found that online shopping. . .even for basic necessities. . .is critical because resources can be somewhat limited & it's always a pain to get to the store & lug the stuff back. Such a great tool to help with that process. Loving the salad too. So good to munch on while you do the shopping. ?
